What role do money play in religion?

Money is a major tool that has kept the world going. The Bible made us to understand that the love of money is the root of all evils. At the church that you are attending, are you of the mindset that they are money centred or do they focus more on salvation?

I think they spread wrong message or the message is missunderstood. What they meant is do not get attached to material stuff. You can be billioner, spent money for charaties but not interested in money itself.

There are many rich people in bible who owned a loooot of cattle and were considered rich and had slaves to work for them. And they were seen as good people because they were good to their servents and money the had wasn't used like today for traveling, jewlery..
