Do you still talk to your ex?

Does anyone here still keep in contact with their ex partners? I never keep in contact with any of my ex's, I don't want to open up that can of worms. One of my coworkers have to keep in contact with his ex, since he's got children and legally she has the children a few days a week.

I do not. She cheated and left. No need to contact her.

I do occasionally on Facebook but not too often and only a few words. She used and abused me when I was with her but I learned to forgive her. Part of moving on with life was forgiving her because it was affecting my mental health.

You are right with forgiving her. We learn to enjoy lives when we forgive people that have offended us. While that is not easy, it is something that we should always consider when we have ex partners. If you hold onto the guilt, it will always put you in pain and make you feel so bad about the experiences that you had with them.
